What we collect, who gets it, and how you stay in control.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

The short version

  • We only collect what HypeFox needs to make your videos: your email, your project settings and what you write for each video.
  • To make a video, what you write goes to AI providers. The one that writes the scripts, DeepSeek, keeps data in China.
  • No ads, no tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.
  • You can delete your videos, your projects and your whole account yourself, at any time, in Settings.

1Who we are

HypeFox is a product of Proiset Solutions S.R.L., the data controller for the website hypefox.app and the app at app.hypefox.app (“we”, “us”).

2What we collect

  • Your account: your email address and your password. The password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form: nobody can read it, us included.
  • Your project: what you enter in the setup and in Settings: project name, account type, what you sell, who buys it, price and link (if you sell something), channels, country, language, main topic, niche, video style, voice, your AI character, videos per week and mode.
  • Your videos: the topic and the notes you write for each video, and what HypeFox makes from them: script, title, video file and cover.
  • Your credits: your plan, your balance and every movement (free credits, videos, refunds).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device and the time of each request, which our hosting and database providers record to run the service and keep it secure.
  • Your emails: if you write to us, your address and your message.

We don't need sensitive data, like information about health, religion or politics. Please don't put it, or other people's personal data, in your topics and notes.

3Why we use it

  • To give you HypeFox: create your account, make your videos, keep your credits and send you the emails your account needs (confirming your email, resetting your password, important changes). Legal basis: our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep it safe and working: prevent abuse, find and fix errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To answer you when you write to us. Legal basis: our contract with you, or our legitimate interest in replying.
  • To follow the law: for example tax records once paid plans start, or requests from public authorities. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it, and we don't send you marketing emails unless you ask for them. No decision with legal or similarly significant effects on you is made by automated means alone.

4Who receives your data

A video is made in steps, and each step uses a provider that gets only what it needs. AI providers never receive your email address, your password or your payment details.

SupabaseSupabase, Inc.Servers in the EU (Ireland)

Database and login: your account, your projects, what you write for each video, the scripts and your credits.

CloudflareCloudflare, Inc.USA company · EU storage

Hosts hypefox.app and app.hypefox.app. It handles technical data, like your IP address and browser, to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.

It also stores your videos and covers, in R2 storage under EU jurisdiction, so they stay in the EU. And it sends the emails about your account, like the email confirmation and the password reset, from no-reply@hypefox.app.

DeepSeekHangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd.Servers in China

The AI that writes the script and plans the scenes. It gets the topic and the notes of the video, your project's main topic and niche, the language and, in Cartoon Storytime videos, your character's name. If you leave the main topic empty, it picks one for you from your niche and, if you sell something, from what you sell and who buys it. See section 5.

CartesiaCartesia AI, Inc.USA

Reads the script aloud with the voice you picked. It gets the text of the script and its language.

GoogleVertex AI and Gemini APIUSA company, global servers

Draws the cover of every video and, in Paper Collage videos, the pictures. For the cover it gets the topic of the video, the few words to write on it and a short description of the picture, written by the AI from your video; in Cartoon Storytime and Doodle Comedy videos, also how your character looks (never its name). Then it reads the cover back, to check that the words are spelled right. For Paper Collage it gets a short description of each picture.

AnthropicAnthropic, PBCUSA

A backup AI model (Claude). It isn't used for your videos today. If we switch to it, it gets the same data as DeepSeek, and we'll update this page.

Our computerProiset Solutions S.R.L.Italy

Puts the video together (animation, voice and subtitles) and uploads it to your account. Its working files are deleted as soon as the video is ready. If something goes wrong, they're kept for up to 30 days so we can find the cause, then deleted automatically.

Zoho MailZoho Corporation B.V.EU data centre

Our mailbox, only if you email us.

We may also share data with public authorities when the law requires it, and with our professional advisers (for example a lawyer or an accountant), who are bound to confidentiality.

5Data that leaves the EU

DeepSeek: your texts go to China

What you write for a video (topic and notes), your project's main topic and niche (and, while your main topic is empty, what you sell and who buys it, so it can pick one), and your character's name are sent to DeepSeek, which processes and stores them on servers in the People's Republic of China. Under its own terms, DeepSeek may keep them and use them to improve its models.

The European Commission has not recognized China as a country with an adequate level of data protection. Your data there may be less protected than in the EU, and Chinese public authorities may be able to access it.

We make this transfer because it's necessary to write the video you ask for (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR), and we limit it to what's needed: DeepSeek never gets your email, your password or your other account details. Don't write personal data about you or other people in topics and notes. If you don't want your texts to go to China, don't request videos for now, and write to us: we're evaluating AI providers that keep data in the EU or the US.

United States. Cloudflare, Cartesia, Google and Anthropic are US companies, and so is Supabase. Your account data (Supabase) and your videos (Cloudflare R2) are stored in the EU, but these companies may still access them from the US, for example for support. For these transfers we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses included in the provider's data processing terms.

6How long we keep it

  • Account, projects and credits: as long as you have an account. When you delete it in Settings, they're deleted from our database right away.
  • Videos and covers: until you delete the video, its project or your account. Their files are then removed from our storage shortly after.
  • Working files on our computer: deleted as soon as the video is ready, or after 30 days at most if something went wrong.
  • At the AI providers: they may keep what they receive for a limited time under their own terms, for example to prevent abuse.
  • Technical logs: for short periods, set by Supabase and Cloudflare for security.
  • Your emails: as long as we need them to handle your request and what follows from it.
  • Records the law makes us keep, like invoices once paid plans start: 10 years, as Italian law requires.

Deleted data may stay in our providers' backups for a short time, until it's overwritten.

7Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access your data and get a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict it or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority where you live or work.

Many things you can do yourself in the app: change your project in Settings, download your videos, delete videos, projects and your whole account. For everything else, write to info@proisetsolutions.com from the email of your account. We reply within one month.

8Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time: in the app, go to Settings → Delete account and confirm. Your account, projects, videos, covers and credits are deleted right away, and the video files are removed from our storage shortly after. This can't be undone: download the videos you want to keep first. If a video is still being made, wait for it to finish.

You can also delete single videos, and whole projects with all their videos. If you can't sign in anymore, write to info@proisetsolutions.com from the email of your account: we delete it within one month at the latest, and we confirm by email.

9Security

Every account can only see its own data, and the database itself enforces it. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Videos are kept in private storage and open only through short-lived links that the app creates for your account. The computer that makes the videos never holds the master key of the database. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach puts your data at risk, we'll tell you and the authority as the law requires.

10Cookies and local storage

HypeFox doesn't use cookies for analytics or advertising and loads no third-party trackers. Even the fonts come from our own domain.

The app (app.hypefox.app) keeps your login in your browser's local storage, so you stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service, so it doesn't need your consent, and logging out removes it. Cloudflare may set technical cookies that protect the site from attacks.

11Age

HypeFox is for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors: if you think a minor has given us data, write to us and we'll delete it.

12Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, like a new provider that receives your data, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
